Designing for big city tourists

Social travel - urban travellers in the sharing economy. My master's thesis on understanding the needs and experiences of big city tourists in new sharing economy services. In the tourism industries and companies, there is often a focus on the technical and functional qualities, while failing to understand and deal with the true nature and thus the scope of the total user experience. This thesis integrates users into the design process to ensure a range of recommendations that meet the needs of urban travellers, functional and non-functional, in their search for authentic experiences.
