Professionshøjskolen Metropol

In 2010, I helped design Metropol's new website. The strategy was to create a unified platform where previously separate individual schools were grouped into six overall universes under one brand "Metropol". The solution should be intuitive for the user and the content providers. My role was as a design link between Metropol and the agency 1508 to ensure the "living professionalism" was communicated to internal and external target groups. It was expressed through 6 universes where part of the design strategy was to work with all pages as potential front pages as many users today enter subpages directly via search engines, social media or other portals. The new design won ´Bedst på nettet 2010´. The site also won Sitecore's Site of the Year award in 2010 as well as the Creative Circle Award and "Bedst på nettet 2011".

The Creative Circle Award wrote about the website:
The site is based on the concept "living professionalism". "Professionalism" refers to the professional weight and the professionalism that the site must reflect - and "living" refers to the cultural layer, communication and recipient inquiry as central to the site.
Phmetropol.dk is built as a subject portal that creates an overview of different, but often related educations. The young person's choice of education is seen as a regular purchase decision. This means that the site at all levels supports the user's clarification - and registration process.
Design and images convey an urban and personalised expression that supports the visual expression on all content pages. The modularly designed site makes it easy for webmasters to manage content elements purposefully.
Finally, the University College has developed a functionality that makes it possible to create new sub-sites and campaign sites. These are based on a basic structure that can be adapted in relation to content, functionality and design expression.
